Leica EM AFS2
The instrument allows samples to be processed by freeze substitution. The samples are processed in a cryochamber that is filled with liquid nitrogen vapour from a 35 l Dewar vessel. The system is equipped with a UV LED light for final polymerisation. The system is equipped with a stereomicroscope with LED illumination for easy sample handling. The instrument can optionally be retrofitted with a Leica EM FSP automated module for sample transfer between reagents and is equipped with an integrated UV LED light.
