Leica EM RAPID
The Leica EM RAPID mechanical milling machine is specially adapted for pharmaceutical research and ultramicrotomy. It enables sample preparation for the analysis of the active substance in solid pharmaceuticals.
The carbide or diamond cutter cuts pills without breaking. It has an adjustable cutting speed between 300 and 20.000 rpm, a defined step for removing individual layers, low-noise extraction and HEPA filtration.
